About Matthew Sorensen

Matthew Sorensen is the founder of ScrubTechJobs.com and a veteran healthcare recruiting professional with over 15 years of experience building teams inside surgical and perioperative environments.

Before founding ScrubTechJobs.com, Matthew worked as a Vice President of Talent Acquisition with direct responsibility for recruiting surgical technologists and OR support staff. That experience made clear that scrub techs are consistently underserved by general job boards, buried under unrelated postings and treated as an afterthought. This board was built to fix that.

Matthew is the founder of Candidate Club, an interview preparation platform that partnered with 37 state workforce agencies and departments of corrections to help job seekers land roles faster. He is the author of four books on hiring and interviewing, and the host of the Hired podcast, which ranks in the top 0.5% of career podcasts worldwide with over 1,000 ratings on Spotify. His work has been featured in SHRM, ABC News, and across dozens of career and workforce media outlets.

ScrubTechJobs.com exists because surgical technologists deserve a hiring resource built around their career, not one they have to fight through to find relevant work.
