Position Summary:
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team. This role ensures instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly to promote safe, efficient patient care.
Education and Training Required:
- Certified Surgical Technologist.
- Meets health requirements.
Experience:
- Previous experience in surgical care services with knowledge of aseptic principles preferred.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to deal with multiple priorities calmly.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good time management skills, can prioritize.
- Resourceful – aware of resources available for use.
