Surgical Technologist

The Melrose Hospital is looking to add a Surgical Technologist to their team! As a Surgical Technologist, you will perform a combination of tasks before, during and after surgery to assist the surgical team. You will be responsible for preparing the operating rooms for a wide range of surgeries and procedures, assist as directed during operations as well as track inventory of surgical materials and tools to assure patient safety. In this role, you will work closely with physicians, CRNA’s, registered nurses and other surgical personnel to deliver quality patient care. 

This position will cross train at the Paynesville Hospital. 

• Schedule
  • Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks | Melrose Hospital 
    • Cross training to Paynesville Hospital required
  • Various 8-hour shifts Monday - Friday between the hours of 5:00 am – 5:00 pm (dependent on surgery schedule)
  • Rotating weeknight, weekend and holiday on call 
     
• Pay and Benefits
  • Starting pay begins at $26.63 per hour and increases with experience
    • Pay range: $25.20 - $37.81 per hour
  • Up to $10,000 student loan repayment or $5,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates!

• Qualifications 
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program 
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) 
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card

  • Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to on-call situations
