Join Our Team as a Veterinary OR Surgical Technician! The AAHA-accredited Small Animal Hospital at the University of Florida is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Operating Room Technician. As a vital member of our growing team, you will support various hospital services, with a special focus on surgery and anesthesia. Key Responsibilities: Assist with surgical procedures and perform routine nursing care, including surgical preparation, aseptic techniques, and patient handling. Keep Sterile Supply and adjacent areas clean and organized. Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly. Be part of a world-class institution known for its commitment to excellence in veterinary care, education, and research. Schedule may change due to covering other shifts. May require working earlier than 8:00 am or later than 5:00 pm. Will participate in holiday schedule for covering the emergency and critical care areas. Will be part of the Emergency Response Team. Some weekend duty may be required. |

$17 to $20, salary dependent on experience |

| Preferred Qualifications |
Graduate from an accredited American Veterinary Medical Association program for veterinary technology OR Credentialed veterinary technician OR Certified as a Surgical technologists |
