The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for the full-time position of Associate Instructor in the new Surgical Technology program at the Dickson Campus. This is a grant-funded position.

GENERAL DUTIES: The Surgical Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for on-campus teaching of theory and skills to prepare students to become surgical technologists. The Associate Instructor will monitor, grade, evaluate and advise students on individual progress; maintain records and complete reports in a timely manner; assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates; participate in the development of the program; maintain good public relations with business and industry; develop and maintain agreements with clinical partners; maintain an active advisory committee, and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Director of Health Career Programs. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Class hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Anticipated start date for the position is May 1. This is not a remote work position. This position is grant-funded.
SALARY: $50,894-$61,074 annually ($26.10-$31.32 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and directly related experience.
