This role ensures operational readiness, maintains high standards of surgical support, and facilitates efficient workflow across the operating room, Sterile Processing Department (SPD), and materials management. The Lead Surgical Technologist demonstrates superior knowledge of aseptic and surgical techniques in the role of the first scrub. Anticipates variances from expected outcomes and responds to patient needs immediately. Demonstrates leadership abilities.
