Surgical Technologist

The surgical technologist assists the surgeon by anticipating his needs and passing the correct instruments and equipment at the proper time. The scrub technician is responsible for all instruments, sponges, needles and blades during the procedure and performs counts with the circulating nurse at the beginning and end of the case.
