Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
Location: Saint John Hospital – Leavenworth, KS
*This is a Full-time position with No Weekend and No On-Call*

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Set up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment and sterilize all instruments before surgery.
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and assist with various tasks.
- Count and manage sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures.
- Help position and drape patients appropriately for surgery.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted) upon hire and maintain current.
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in various surgical specialties
- Graduation from a Surgical Tech or Operating Tech program. training program within 6 months of hire or on-the-job training
